Camping Orlando

The Camping Orlando in Chianti is immersed in the hills of the Chianti, about 40 Km far from cities such as Florence, Siena and Arezzo, 5-10 Km far from Radda in Chianti and Gaiole in Chianti, Volpaia and Badia Coltibuono, and 20 Km far from Greve in Chianti and Panzano and 45 Km far from Cortona. The Chianti road, enjoying the landscape that inspired Leonardo da Vinci, will allow you to visit castles, abbeys, churches, farms, taverns and restaurants in the area. Near the campsite is located the Park of Cavriglia, lively by a diverse flora and fauna: here you may meet mouflons, fallow deer, deers, roes and llamas. In the Park there is also a manege with donkies to offer to the visitors relaxing strolls in the quiet of the Tuscan countryside. The Park is crossing by numerous hiking trails, the most important is that of C.A.I. n° 00 connecting the city of Florence to Siena.

Natura e Città

Near the campsite (1 Km) is the Park of Cavriglia with a variegated fauna and flora: it’s possibile to meet moufflons, deers, roe deers, but also llamas. In the Park there are a Paddock with donkies and ponies of different breeds, suited for rides in the wood. Florence, Siena, Arezzo and San Gimignano that are 35-40 Km

Trekking

The Campsite is crossed by numerous trails-hiking, the most important of which is that of CAI N° 00 linking Florence to Siena. Many trails and fantastic views of the Chianti hills.

Mountain Bike

Enjoy the road around the Chianti Shire, surrounded by forests and hills, scenic and wonderfully suited to all levels. In the campsite you can rent mountain bikes for adults and children and all the equipment you need.
